The District Customer Service Centers and all District Administrative Offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026 in observance of the New Years holiday. Offices will reopen with regular hours on Friday, January 2, 2026, unless otherwise noted.
New Years Day Holiday Sanitation Changes:
Districts 1-11
If you live in Village Community Development Districts 1-11 in the Sumter
County, Marion County or Fruitland Park portions of The Villages, Thursday collection will be moved to Saturday, January 3rd, 2026.
District 12, 13, 14 or 15
If you live in District 12, 13, 14, or 15, Thursday collection will be moved to Saturday, January 3rd, 2026.
If you live in the Lake County portion of The Villages (not including VCDD No. 11 or 14), Thursday collection will occur on Friday. All remaining collection days for the week will be moved to the next day.
If you live in the Town of Lady Lake portion of The Villages, Thursday collection will be moved to Monday, January 3rd, 2026.
