The Recreation & Parks Department offers S.T.A.R. (Special Talented Adult Residents) activities, which are one-time socials offered to adults with special needs living in The Villages.
Our S.T.A.R. socials gives residents an opportunity to have a fun and engaging time with their peers. The S.T.A.R. activities are designed to offer similar activities you would see on the monthly calendar in the Recreation & Parks publication on the last Thursday of the month. Parents, Guardians & Participants can decide if an activity is a good fit for their family.
*As the Recreation staff is not familiar with each individual’s needs, triggers or medical requirements, if a S.T.A.R. participant needs to be driven to an activity we, require the parent or guardian to stay during that activity.
See availability for the S.T.A.R. program and sign up online.
Register in person at any At Your Service recreation center.
