Northbound Florida’s Turnpike/S.R. 91 Closure

Location: Between Leesburg/C.R. 470 (Exit 296) and Wildwood/U.S. 301 (Exit 304)

Closure Schedule:

• 9:00 p.m., Monday, June 15, through 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 16
• If necessary, an additional closure may occur 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, through 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 17

Northbound Detour Route:
Motorists traveling north on Florida’s Turnpike who wish to continue north will be directed to:

1. Exit at Leesburg/C.R. 470 (Exit 296)
2. Travel east on C.R. 470
3. Continue north on C.R. 33
4. Travel north on U.S. 27
5. Travel west on S.R. 44
6. Continue south on U.S. 301 to re-enter northbound Florida’s Turnpike

Southbound Florida’s Turnpike/S.R. 91 Closure

Location: At Leesburg/C.R. 470 (Exit 296)

Closure Schedule:

• 9:00 p.m., Thursday, June 18, through 6:30 a.m., Friday, June 19
• If necessary, an additional closure may occur 9:00 p.m., Monday, June 22, through 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 23

Southbound Detour Route:
Motorists traveling south on Florida’s Turnpike who wish to continue south will be directed to:

1. Exit at Leesburg/C.R. 470 (Exit 296)
2. Travel east on C.R. 470
3. Follow posted signs to re-access southbound Florida’s Turnpike

Residents and visitors are encouraged to use caution in the area, follow all posted detour signs, and consider alternate routes during these overnight closures.
