Water Matters – Save the Date (4.11.2026)

Join your neighbors for our annual Water Matters event, as we come together to learn, connect, and celebrate smart water stewardship in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown®.

This free community event focuses on water conservation, education, and the resources available to help residents protect and preserve our shared environment.

Date: Saturday, April 11, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: Lake Sumter Landing Market Square®
Cost: Free event | Registration not required

Residents are invited to learn from industry professionals and community partners through educational presentations, live demonstrations, vendor exhibits, raffles, and a variety of giveaways. This event is designed to provide practical information and tools to help you better understand and manage water use in our community.

Participating partners include Jacobs, UF/IFAS Extension – University of Florida, Water Wisdom University, and Vikus Water, along with The Villages Community Development Districts Property Management team.
