Paradise Regional Recreation Center Rebuild Project

The Paradise Regional Recreation Center will undergo an 18-month Demolition and Rebuild Project starting in August 2025. The surrounding areas will be home to numerous construction vehicles, equipment, and personnel throughout the project.

Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure everyone’s safety, certain areas of the Paradise Recreation Complex will be closed for varying periods. Please see below the current projected timeline for events, closures, and re-openings.

Paradise Recreation Center Swimming Pool and Adjacent Amenities will be Closing on

August 15, 2025, for the duration of the Rebuild Project. Projected Opening of Paradise Recreation Center Spring 2027 Read Below Additional Information:

Mark Twain Library: Closing on July 25, 2025, for the duration of the Rebuild Project.

Knudson Softball Complex, Basketball, Pickleball, and all other Sports Courts

Please notify the Recreation Staff by July 11 if your outdoor group is interested in playing at an alternative outdoor facility.

Indoor Resident Lifestyle Volunteer Groups (RLVG)

Beginning July 11, 2025, Resident Lifestyle Volunteer Leaders will be notified by Recreation Staff regarding an alternate meeting location for their club or activity.

Please reply to Recreation Staff by July 25, 2025, regarding this new location. Your revised facility use permit will be sent to the Volunteer leader by August 15, 2025.

The starting date for the new location will be the week of September 8, 2025.

The Paradise Archery Range, Fitness Park, and Dog Park will remain open but may experience intermittent closures during the project’s duration.

A “Walk Down Memory Lane” Social Event will be hosted on July 22, 2025 – more information to follow!
