Multimodal Path Closure Near Bexley: November 17–25

A section of the multimodal path near the Bexley area will be temporarily closed from November 17 through November 25 to accommodate scheduled utility work. This closure is necessary to ensure the safety of both residents and work crews while improvements are completed.

Closure Location

The closure affects the portion of the path:

  • From the bridge north of Bexley,

  • Continuing south toward Corbin.

Barricades will be placed at both ends of the work zone to restrict access.

Detour Route

A designated detour will be available throughout the closure period. The recommended route directs multimodal traffic:

  • Over the Southern Oaks Bexley bridge,

  • West onto McNeil,

  • Reconnecting with the path system near Corbin.

Signage will be posted to assist residents in navigating the detour safely.

Resident Impact

Residents who regularly use this portion of the multimodal path should allow additional travel time and exercise caution when following the detour. Construction personnel and equipment will be active in the area for the duration of the work.

This utility project supports ongoing infrastructure maintenance and improvements aimed at sustaining reliable service throughout the community.
