Holiday Closure & Sanitation Schedule

The District Customer Service Centers and all District Administrative Offices will be closed on Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, 2025 in observance of the Christmas holiday. Offices will reopen with regular hours on Monday, December 29, 2025, unless otherwise noted.

District offices will also be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026 for New Year’s Day, and will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Christmas Holiday Sanitation Changes:

If you live in Village Community Development Districts 1-11 in the Sumter County, Marion County or Fruitland Park portions of The Villages, Thursday collection will occur on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Friday collection will have normal services.

Village Community Development District No. 12 and the Villages of DeLuna and Hammock at Fenney If you live in Village Community Development District 12 of the Village of DeLuna and Hammock at Fenney, Thursday collection will occur on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Friday collection will have normal services.

Village Community Development District 13, (excluding Villages of DeLuna and Hammock at Fenney) and District 14, Thursday collection will occur on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Friday collection will have normal services

If you live in the Lake County portion of The Villages (not including VCDD No. 11 or 14), Thursday collection will occur on Friday. All remaining collection days for the week will be moved to the next day.

If you live in the Town of Lady Lake portion of The Villages, Thursday services will be performed on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Village Community Development District 15 (excluding Villages of Oak Hollow and Well Point), the Thursday pick up will be rescheduled to Saturday, December 27, 2025.
