Originally from Tampa, Florida, Kenneth C. Blocker has lived in Wildwood and Inverness since 1988. He attended University of South Florida and received a MBA from St. Leo University. He has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2017.
Kenny says working for the District affords me the opportunity to work with a dynamic workforce, great leaders for each of the Boards and serving a very diverse community each and every day. The service that our team provides the residents and community is second to none and it gives me great pleasure to be a part of it today, tomorrow, and well into the future.
Originally from Florida, Carrie has lived in Central Florida her entire life. She obtained her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of West Florida and her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of North Florida. Carrie has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2008.
Carrie says the best part about working for The Villages Community Development Districts are the people she gets to work with each day and the opportunities for growth. No two days are the same and there is always a challenge or new opportunity to work through. From working with her District Team, Community Partners, Board Members, and Residents, the dedication and commitment to this community is like none other.
Originally from Ocala, Florida, Brittany Wilson has lived in Crystal River, Florida since 2019. She attended Florida State University to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and the University of Central Florida to obtain her Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2010.
Brittany says the best part about working for The Villages Community Development Districts is the strong sense of community and pride in ownership shared by team members, residents, and elected officials alike. It is inspiring to be a part of a team where everyone is dedicated to making The Villages the best place to live and work.
Originally from Bayshore, New York, Bruce Brown has lived in Ocala, Florida since 2020 since retiring from the United States Coast Guard after nearly 37 years of service. He attended Charter Oak State College and the University of Phoenix. He has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2020.
Bruce says the best part about working for The Villages Community Development Districts is the people; those we work with and the residents we serve.
Originally from Belleview, FL, Matthew Armstrong has lived in Central Florida most of his life. He attended American Public University where he obtained his Master of Public Administration. He has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2010.
Matthew says the best part about working for The Villages Community Development Districts is working with the Residents, making their retirement dreams come true.
Originally from Toledo, OH, Brandy L. Cook has lived in Leesburg since 2005. She attended the University of Central Florida where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2018.
Brandy says the best part about working for The Villages Community Development Districts is working with wonderful people on daily basis.
Originally from Miami, FL, Thomas Major has lived in Ocala for 10 years. He spent nine years in the U.S. Army as an infantryman, completing three combat deployments. After his military service, Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rasmussen University. He has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2024.
Thomas says the best part about working for the The Villages Community Development Districts is the unique challenges he faces daily, which allow him to problem-solve, adapt, and grow in a dynamic environment.
Originally from Lynwood, Illinois, Jennifer Farlow has lived in Weirsdale since 2005. She attended Fox College where she received her certification in Business Administration. She has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2007.

Originally from Titusville, Florida, Mike Harris has lived in the local area for several years, residing in Bushnell since 2017. He has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2015.
Mike says the best part about working for The Villages Community Development Districts is the opportunity to collaborate with a fantastic team and deliver world-class support to the expanding community.
Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO). She started working at VCDD in 2008 and says the best part about working for The Villages Community Development Districts is how she loves working with the people and there is so much knowledge here at the District with lots to learn.
Originally from Miami, FL, John B. Rohan has lived in Lady Lake for 25 years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Troy State University. He has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 1993.
John says the best part about working for The Villages Community Developments is the endless opportunities to serve each other and our community.
Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Melissa Schaar has lived in Lady Lake, Florida since 2014. She attended Minnesota State University Moorhead with a degree in Mass Communications. She has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2014.

Originally from Camden, NJ, Brian Twiss lived in Central Florida since 1972. He attended Columbia Southern University with an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. He has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2009.
Brian says the best part about working for The Villages Community Development Districts is undoubtedly the incredible community we have the privilege to serve. As the fire department serving The Villages Community Development Districts, the greatest aspect of our role lies in the exceptional fire and EMS services we deliver to our community. Every day, we are deeply honored to safeguard the lives and properties of the residents who call The Villages home.
Originally from Sumterville, Florida, Pamela Webb has lived in Lake Panasoffkee since 2004. She attended Waldorf University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Human Resource Management concentration. She has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2019.

Originally from Wildwood, Florida, David Williams has lived in Sumter County most of his life. He attended Florida State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Business with a major in Hospitality Administration, and also Professional Golf Management. Mr. Williams is a PGA Professional with certifications in General Management, Golf Operations, and Retail Operations. He joined The Villages Community Development Districts team in 2023 after working for The Villages for 20 years.
David says the best part about working for The Villages Community Development Districts is being a part of a great team and the opportunity to make a difference every day in this wonderful community.
Originally from Okahumpka, Florida, Nehemiah Wolfe has lived in Lady Lake for 36 years. He has been working for The Villages Community Development Districts since 2017, after 30 years with Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Originally from Umatilla, Florida, Robyn has lived in Central Florida most her life. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and holds credentials as both a Certified Paralegal and Florida Registered Paralegal.
