Multi-Modal Paths are an essential part of The Villages lifestyle, providing connectivity to neighborhoods, recreation areas, golf courses, health care and so much more!
These paths are intended for the enjoyment of non-automotive traffic such as bicycles, golf cars and pedestrians. Vehicles are not permitted on any of the multi-modal paths in The Villages, which includes automobiles, smart cars, motorcycles or mopeds.
In a community of more than 150,000 residents, golf car safety is important both on the multi-modal paths and on the roadways. To encourage safe use of our multi-modal pathways, we have several educational materials available to help inform and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
To promote golf car safety in The Villages, The Villages Homeowners Advocates (VHA) offers a monthly Golf Car Safety Clinic on the third Wednesday of every month at 9am at Colony Cottage Recreation, 510 Colony Blvd. For more information, please click here.
