Aquatic Access Lifts Now Available at All Recreation Swimming Pools

Knowing that access to an aquatic environment is vitally important for both mobility challenged individuals and seniors, the Recreation & Parks Department partnered with District Property Management to have Aquatic Access Lifts installed at all Recreation supported swimming pools in The Villages with the approval of both the Amenity Authority Committee (AAC) and Project Wide Advisory Committee (PWAC). Aquatic Access Lifts are self-service. If you have any questions or need assistance operating the pool lift, please contact any Recreation staff member at the facility in which you are visiting. You can also contact Recreation Administration at 352-674-1800 to have a Recreation staff member meet you at the pool location for assistance.
